South London Conversions Ltd was set up in 2014 and is owned and managed by Tomas Slembarski, a dedicated builder who is passionate about transforming homes. He’s been in the business for 18 years, and like all the best builders, the trade is in the blood.
Tomas began his career in Germany working as a carpenter for his dad on commercial building sites, and after some years he decided to break out alone and try life in London.
Tomas increasingly became involved in bigger and demanding construction projects and is now a seasoned expert in his area. He set up South London Conversions to make extensions and conversions the heart of the business, which is not just his niche, but the area he loves to work in best. He’s excited by transforming homes and coming up with imaginative solutions that you may not have thought of yet.
He has undertaken hundreds of projects over the last two decades and worked on buildings with endless architectural variation, a large chunk of these being period properties. He believes in making the process as easy as possible for the client, because he knows most people won’t have had major renovations before and you will still need to continue with your daily life around the work.
